Razia Tony

Chennai-based artist Razia Tony was born in Kochi, Kerala. She obtained her B.F.A. from the Government College of Arts and Crafts, Chennai, and her M.A. and Ph.D. from Agra University. She has had several solo and group shows in India and abroad. Her works are in the collections of prestigious private and public bodies in the country and overseas, including the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. Razia Tony's paintings reveal the philosophical nature of her work, reflecting her search for ultimate reality through meditative compositions. She is also a Fine Arts Department faculty member at Stella Maris College in Chennai.
