Kumaraswamy B.

Born in 1973, in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, Kumaraswamy B. graduated with a B.F.A. from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, in 1996. After graduation, he has been practising his art in different mediums and subjects while exhibiting his works in well-noted art galleries. His works mainly depict women and nature. According to Kumaraswamy, women have long been associated with nature, metaphorically, as "Mother Earth," which inspires him to choose this as a recurring theme. His works generally incorporate a combination of flowers, motifs, the sun, butterflies, and elephants, all in relation to women and nature.
