D. Venkatapathy

D. Venkatapathy was born in 1935 in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. He acquired certificates and diplomas in freehand outline, model drawing, and Fresco Painting. Venkatapathy has participated in more than 50 exhibitions in India and abroad, receiving innumerable awards from Akademis all over India. Being a veteran artist, he has had many honours conferred to him, notably the Kalai Chemmal Award. He has also taken part in many workshops. His works are in the collections of many galleries, corporations, and individuals in India and abroad.
