Anil Gaikwad

Anil Gaikwad, born in Madhya Pradesh, received his training in painting at the Indore Fine Arts College. Gaikwad's paintings explore the mind's meditative workings, reflecting the landscapes in his subconscious mind. Using motifs outside the ordinary visual context, he creates fluid canvases that contain a sense of loneliness and a journey beyond the imagery. Gaikwad has participated in many group and solo exhibitions, and his work has earned him several state awards. His collections are owned by numerous private and public collectors.
